Königsee, the Alps, and Salzburg

This is the first of many posts to come in the next weeks as I’ve slightly fell behind with the regular updates.  When I look back on it, I’m amazed that it’s been 5 months (NEARLY HALF A YEAR!) since I’ve updated my blog.  This simply shows you how busy I was this summer as it was my one summer to truly see the world. On June 11th, 2010 Lucas, Monta, Vita and myself took a weekend trip to the Bavarian Alps.  The area around Königsee (Kings Lake) is certainly one of the most beautiful regions of the world I've ever seen.  You can watch the videos and see the photos to experience this weekend trip for yourself as well.

When I was running back after retrieving my forgotten camera as mentioned in the film above, I stumbled upon a very familiar place.  To my amazement, I was running right by a touristic Salt Mining location which happened to be the EXACT same place I visited my first time in Europe in 2006 when my high school French class spend 2 weeks here.  I knew we had been in the Alps but I never knew I actually been to Berchtesgarden before.  It a pretty big "Oh, Wow!" moment for me when I found this all out.
